Have a drill handy, a power drill.
This record stand is super cute and compact, if you have a lot of records you may want to also have a shelf nearby for the overflow. despite it being laminate and particle board it has a nice weight to it neither too heavy or too light.
My only fault is the bottom shelf needed a drill to help the screws go in as not all the holes were well.. holes. other than that the little screw driver and Alan wrench were enough. Also do the side panels separate then attach to the bottom base-- trust me. The instructions were a bit difficult to follow as it shows a schematic rather than steps. For myself that got a little confusing but not impossible.
Either way exactly what I paid for. 4 stars for making me whip out the power drill.
